Medalion 09 engines

 Can anyone supply some info on these engines as stunt engines? I would like to get one as a stunt engine if they will work as such.
 My thoughts are to mount them on something like the Jr Flight Streak or other sized models..

  I don't have a Medallion 09, but the Medallion .049 is an absolutely great stunt engine, FAR better than a TD, and runs *dead steady* in the maneuvers if everything else is right, even on suction.

All the Medallion engines were designed as stunt and sport engines. The timing is such that they are very friendly. They work well on suction fuel feed. The TD engines were designed as competition engines, they are not friendly and  really need pressure feed on the fuel to run well.

If you intend to run a muffler you may find power reduced a bit. These engines have noticable sub piston induction.

 i have one on an .099 size Zilch .it runs great  should pull a JR flightstreak fine

 I had a Medallion .09 way back in Junior High, it was a great running engine and as I recall also seemed to have a lot of power for it's size. I actually find myself wanting another on occasion.

I have a Tee Dee .09 with a Medallion .09 venturi on it. It runs great.

I Have a Medallion .09 on the later Stunt Goat design and it works very well. The engine has a lower mass which suits some designs which would require tail weight for balance if a heavier engine were fitted.

Hi Gil,

I know the Medallion .049 ill do a 4-2 if you want to!  Pretty sure the .09 would too, but running then in a wet 2 seems best.
