FAA NOTAM/TFR
« on: January 28, 2015, 01:25:06 PM »
AMA webmaster just sent me this:

A FAA NOTAM/TFR has been issued for the greater Philadelphia, PA metropolitan area for Thursday, 1/29, from 5:30p until 9:30p EST. The TFR is issued for security purposes to cover VIP movement in this area. Outdoor radio control model aircraft operations are prohibited within the 30nm circle for the specific times listed below. Control Line and Free Flight modelers should use discretion when operating within the TFR.

So if I see them coming over my field lower than 65' I should wait a couple of laps before doing a wing over?

Considering the weather on the east coast, if you are out flying tomorrow, you are a better man than I.

I'd just go for it! But you won't like the turbulence.  ;) Steve
