Anybody Know What Airplane This is?
« on: January 27, 2015, 07:29:18 PM »
I was given this wreck today and I don't know what it is or if it is worth rebuilding.
Any suggestions?

Span is about 39-1/2"  Top of fuse is flat and the bottom is curved. It had a Johnson 35 on it.

I think it was/is some kind of combat ship as there is no LG.

I inadvertently posted a question in the S.H.com section.  :-\
If anyone would be so kind, please go there and tell me what airplane I've been given.

Thank you in advance, Jerry

PS: Here's a little better pic of the stab.

I'd guess it's a Dongus but the wingspan might be too big. Some of the ribs look like they might be from a kit and others look like they were home cut with rough holes for the leadouts. On closer examination the Dongus has two front spars and two smaller rear spars so it's probably something else.
