Both have Spitfire-ish wings - and both fuselages have some resemblance with modern full-size aerobatic aircraft...

Dar Fórum Friends

Marcelo and I first met in a contest, when he brought his Ringmaster kit to show everybody. He Always recalls me being the only one who was actually interested in his kit... LL~
From then on, I've been able to follow his work and dedication to control line, Always trying to make available good kits, which are easy to build, made of good wood.
Recently, he was granted permission to sell plans and kits by Pat Johnson and Pat King, which shows his commitment to quality.
Somewhen not too long in the past I was being told about this Project.
Osni Leme and Marcelo teamed up to try to come up with a competitive stunter design, sold as a kit, which would be cheap enough for people to afford, easy to build so everybody could do so, and which could take any kind of powerplant.
Ideas were discussed and a design was decided.
He won't be satisfied until the prototype flies and does it well.
Marcelo is a great guy, whose shop is a place of dreams for any modeller, and a person who has made me part of his Family.
Soon this ship will maiden, and I will be there  8) to have my go.... VD~

Hello my friends and brothers. . .
It's almost done, missing some details.
Insert some not definitive picture on my website so they can follow a little of what is happening.
The photos are not definitive, just inserted, on grounds of lack of time due to prototype construction!
Go ahead, I'll post new news!
Thank you all.
Who interested can visit the website and click "CHUPIM60".

For all that beautifully efficient wing, the fuse profile looks short of really stylish and efficient. This is not a jab at your design, but I think you have more in you than cad will allow.  ;)

The Raven is very different. It is bigger and it does not have the same Chupim's disgusting habit of digging cattle @#$% to find seeds. Because of this discussing habit the Chupim is popularly called in Brazil "@#$% Digger" or in Portuguese "Vira Bosta" The other bad habit the Chupim has is laying its eggs into other birds nest. It is such a SOB that it lays its eggs in the nest of smaller birds so the Chupim Chick grows bigger then the others and it easily push the others to get more food. Because of it's habits the Chupim @#$% Digger is the most hated bird in Brazil.

"Chupim" is also used to label people who take advantage of others, who make illegal copies, who lives abusing some one else money and generosity......

Brazilian Informal Dictionary:
http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=pt&sl=auto&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dicionarioinformal.com.br%2Fchupim%2F&sandbox=1

http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=pt&sl=auto&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.coave.org.br%2Fbiblioteca-de-aves-detalhes.php%3Fid%3D246&sandbox=1

Google Translator is not so good translating Portuguese to English, but you will understand what is the meaning of "Chupim"

Interesting.  I've made a few models that could've been called "S&#@ Digger", although "Chupim" probably has a better ring to it.

Chupim in Google shows a cowbird, but the behaviour described is that of a magpie, not a Raven.
But obviously an opportunistic bird!

Sorry friends, for those interested, we insert new photos on the site.
Explaining:. "Chupim is the name of my pet bird, which inspired its name really is a native bird of Brazil Love Birds.!
The person who is talking bad about my work, is a personal problem.
That person is losing its trust here in Brazil, so that is attacking me so.
I wish someone can prove that the models that are making illegal copies, to your measurements and design.
Many people here in Brazil trying to sell something in virtual sites, sell, but do not have products to deliver, such as what is occurring, deceiving our Brazilians friends.
I have no guilt for having engineering background and be a factory owner who possesses various equipment to do this. I have time and afford it. Not gain anything money doing it, everyone knows, the more it hurts very people who qerem do and can not.
I hope you can understand what I speak ...... but sorry everyone if people here are annoyed with my work, you guys do not have nothing to do with it.
Now if they feel that the name "Chupim" will interfere with your performance, do not have problems, we will change its name to better everyone. Let's hope the videos of your flight, so we can see it as a good or bad.
Sorry again, if people who attack me here in Brazil, have no ability to do this, not even open a box kit and build it.

Hello friends, thanks for the support I'm getting through my email.
I come to thank the friends who trust me, as "Robert Storick" which gave me the opportunity to advertise my site in "StuntHanger" ...... "Pat King" and "Pat Jonsthon" for giving the opportunity to its representation plans and kits here in Brazil, "John Brodak" for publishing events that organize here the Fly-A-Thon in Brazil on my responsibility, as you all know and have seen, "Marcus Lamb" for the great help that makes me, and also all you who are relying on my work. Not gain any money from it, but the laws here in Brazil, favor people who attack us. It is a way that people use to earn a little money when they need it. And call me "Chupim". I am not in need of money, but I think those who are attacking me is to survive in our country. This shows their attitude of mistrust that Brazilian es having with this header. The Brazilian friends are sad and without confidence.
I hope you all understand what I'm writing.
Sorry for all this trouble, again!

People were curious about the meaning of Chupim and I just told them what it really means.

I did not say anything about you, the kit itself or your business.

But you are attacking me personally and my business saying things that are not true.

Hello Friends
I built the prototype and made the flight test with the engine PA65, flew very well and is very promising
I've been reading all the comments and have my position
Some friends said it was the same as another plane, I can answer that is not equal, there may be similarities, such as ThunderGazer and Trivial SE, are similar planes are however different, elliptical wings are great in flight since World War II with manufacturing the Spitfire, other planes already use elliptical wings as the friend of Furia Barrabino.
Therefore there may be similarities however it is not illegal copies, as some may think.
I am disposition for any questions

About the name CHUPIM plane, is a very famose and traditional bird here in Brazil, all black and singing very well

This bird is worshiped by the Brazilian

Best Regards

Marcello,

It's a beautiful well designed airplane.  I think there were some misunderstandings about some of the coments made here on Stunt Hanger.  I think some of the comments were just crass American Humor and not meant to be condeming.  There may be other feelings that I'm not aware of from past incidents there in Brazil...This is only a guess but if that's true I would advise you to simply ignore them and proceed with your plans of the kit.  I believe it will be very successful.  The acceptance of the design has already shown itself here on the Forum.

I wish you the very best luck in the endeavor and am very interested in the kit.  I believe it shows all the qualities for a successful stunt design.

Congratulations to friends Marcelo Cremon and Osni Leme for the beautiful design. :) :) :)

Certainly the Chupim 60 will be a wonderful model. Marcelo, you can now add me interested in the list in a kit.

Who cares about the model name is because only care about superficial things and not to the real importance of the project.

Congratulations my friends.

Regards,

Fernando

I don't think I have thanked brother Cremon enough for the wonderful kit I got from him.   For me it is just the right size as I can't handle the bigger planes any more.   Also how can we thank a person willing to design, produce and sell kits like this gentleman does.   I myself did not see the negative writing of the little black bird.   You want a nasty bird try on a Blue Jay some time.   Have been attacked by them several times in the spring.

Yeah, or the Sonoran Woodpecker we have here in The Southwest.  They poke holes in everything including houses.  Once a year I have to get the ladder, wood filler and paint out and go fill in all the latest holes the little suckers make in my house.  Yes I have several shotguns but they are a protected State Bird!!!  Maybe I can sue the State of Arizona for the damage... LL~ We all know how far that would go!

When I get one of the kits and build it I'll probably just call it the "Blackbird"  That's a very honorable name for any aircraft.

We have Steller's jays in the NW, seen here demanding peanuts.  They never attack me.  I recommend your not being so stingy with the peanuts.

I saw some cool birds in Ibirapuera Park.  The local folks didn't like them.  They could have been chupims.  I wonder if those were the same birds that attacked Windy when he got too close to their nest.  Those were really cool birds.

There is a famous American combat model called the Bosta.
