T-6 build continues (update 30 Nov)
« on: November 23, 2014, 07:17:08 PM »
After 2 months of waiting, my eyes are working well enough again to get back to work. Got the wing finished and one of the flaps. Tons easier to read about lucky boxes then to actually make it work, but all looks good so far. Also got the nose block cut out and motor mounts glued in to take a ST 51. Going to get the other flap done throughout the week and hopefully will have the fuselage in one piece by the end of next weekend.

Um, son. It's Tom LAY. If he was still around he might never build you another engine if you didn't get the name correct!
Sure do miss the Layster. :(

Hi Sean,

If it comes out as good as Joe's, you will have a winner!  Plenty of power with the T&L .51.
