« on: November 20, 2014, 10:29:10 AM »
Ok guys sorry if this has been asked before but I did a search and came up dry.

Thanks

Most chargers display the running total and hold that display until you reset it.  What charger are you using?

Should have a number and a time, read the number before you press stop. If your battery puffs up over the winter you put back too many.

LiPo chargers stop automatically.  It's one of those things that you just have to do to keep the battery healthy.

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

Yes, they stop automatically and display the charge time and mah put in but once you press stop it clears the display.

I only fully charge after flying if I'm setting up a system or making changes, after that I go right to storage charge after flying. Don't want to work the battery unnecessarily. You only get X number of charge/discharge on those things.

Right now I'm only using 71% capacity for the full pattern +3 laps but thinking of adding a few more laps. Don't want to miscount then crap out in the clover leaf.
