Trash the pushrods and horns.... Use some real stuff... The motor mounts are made of paper, so any nose to the ground and they break.
A plastic RC type mount solves the problem.
Some people say it's good to replace the leadouts.... I agree...
40 FP!!!
I think that should do it....

Jim, do a search on here and get prepared to read.   A lot of stuff has been posted.   Yes replaced the control system.    I have one that is still flyable that I only replaced the bell crank and lead outs.   Now the Fox .35 Stunt takes a lot of break in using fuel with castor oil in the fuel.   Once broken in it is a good match for the plane.  Right now my ARF Nobler has EVO .36 that is still being broke in.   I like to bench run engines long enough that they will run in the air with a slightly rich setting.   After several flights on the engines I start going in with the needle.  Now this is just my way of going things.  Have fun. Replace the bell crank and leadouts (the crimps they use WILL fail) DO NOT use the clevises they provide, ball links and carbon fibre pushrods are preferred (you can get a complete control set up  from Sparky or Tom Morris) If you want to invest the time take a look at Warbirds thread on bashing a Nobler in the building forum. He replaces the motor mounts. The FP40 would be your best choice but there is nothing wrong with the Fox 35. You might want to strengthen the landing gear set up also. It sounds like a lot but it isn't that hard to do. Good Luck

Here it is   http://www.stunthanger.com/hobby

If you order the controls be sure and tell him it's for the Top Flite ARF Nobler he knows the measurements.

Well I haven't heard anything back from the man who was wanting to trade this to me. After looking at everything that needs to be done to it wasn't really sure if i wanted to mess with it.
There was one on rcgroups last night for 40.00 that had the covering pulled off of it.

Building a kit might be a lot more work but you'll know what it's made of. Brodak has a laser cut kit along with RSM. Depending on your building skills the Brodak kit comes with complete hardware and a step by step instruction book, while the RSM comes with hardware it is a plans build no instructions. I looked at RC groups and that Nobler is sold.
