Hi Gene,

You always do beautiful work.  This one should be another beauty!

That's for sure.  Look at the perfect contour on the nose.  It will be spectacular when it's painted, knowing Gene.

For me about to put color on these two Desperados then start my Veco Hurricane for classic.  Working on a Sig Acromaster for the grandson for Xmas and still grooming the new flying site.

 That's all?  :##

Aviojet:

Thanks, it's based on a Cardinal Profile 40 wing with EVO 40 moments and etc. but modified, of course, to my liking.

By the shape of the rudder and stinger tail it is a tribute plane honoring the I-beamers of old (and hopefully not too disconcerting that it doesn't use an I-beam wing, my apologies for that.)

The issue for many stunt ships is not having sufficient forward adjustment.  Our new guys always have a hard time "getting" the "move your lines forward to increase your line tension" idea.

Here's the cowl...

Scott

Scott,
I just saw the pictures of your project...very nice work.  Very impressive.

However I was stopped cold by the appearance of your immaculate and very efficient looking work place!
Also very impressive.  However, you must know that a clean shop (especially that clean) is a sign of a truly sick mind!  LL~ LL~ LL~

Well I could do more if I didn't have that silly job to go to each day.  Actually started the Desperados right after the Nats so I got an early start.  Thought I might fly the first of them before winter this year but that didn't happen.  These won't be flown much till after the Nats next year.  Should be well equipped for awhile.  Sort of takes away the thrill of putting on the last coat of dope the night before leaving for the contest tho...

rebuilding this .

was only lightly damadged when the smashed the two DeH88s , Folkerts , P-51 fuse , t-bird & shoestring
and flogged the drafting equipment New World , Infidel & other of the better racing yachts of the 60s &
70s were drawn with . World wide Freight Forwarding MELBOURNE for guaranteed degeneracy & larceny ,
if your going to the World Champs .

Reribbed , landed inverted in the olde briney once , so contols are getting new wire as the salt got in
the open cockpit , new elevators & larger more bouyant floats .

Doing a new P51 scaleish Fuse , but impossable to get as good Timber as I had for that & the big 88 .
Smaller 88 had wing sheeting Id been given , that had been under a tin roof for over ten years in the
rafters . Cant hurry that & no kiln dried balsa these days , so what a hope .

accumeulateing vast debri , reasearch , and material so alls not lost . The general public apparently
are a bit dimmer than Einstein ,

Itll never fly , but it won the transpac once or twice , though . renamed Ragtime by then ,

Now if I build two of those . . . .  >:D

Thought a few of the scribers might appreciate this . Line Drawing / displacement - contures .
pretty much whats required for semi scale fuselages etc . Good old T Square and slide  rule ,
parrallel rule ( navigators tools ) squares & ships curves . Must see if I can get a set off E bay .
Mature Technology , used on the Ark , titanic , Hood & Repulse etc .

Yeah, I have no idea what happened with that posting.  When I tried to post the message it kept telling me that someone else was positng and I should review my post.  When I checked the forum sure enough it had not posted my message...so I did it again, and again. and again then it suddenly posted all of those tries!  Go Figure.

I hope that someone...maybe Sparky will delete all but one of them!

Dave, don't complain about that silly old job.   When I finally called it quits working for someone else I suddenly ran out of time to do things, like work in the shop.   Have grand kids that need picking up after school,  doctor appointments and also some now have jobs.   Also going and visiting family that are now in Grain Valley MO instead of Stuart FL.  Need to get me a schedule fixed up like my wife's late Aunt Betty said she had to do.

Now Randy C. I think we got the message.

Just finished my OTS trainer, Mongoose with 25FP. Built many of these in my slow combat days, powered with ST 35. Didn't realize how small they were.

Currently building a Brodak Legacy 40. Which is getting a Stalker .51 for power.

Progress has been slow of recent, too little spare time coming into Christmas. Hopefully back into the build soon after New Years.
