The "Beast" plans have gone to press (PDF). If ya'll have any interest in obtaining a copy, let me know. They are a bargain!

My educated guess:  Curtis SB2C Helldiver - should be a good one.  8)

I'm thinking it must be the Helldiver too. Don't we get a peek Don?

Thanks for the look Don, another great design! y1

Here's one that I scratchbuilt a few years ago around an already built Fancy Pants wing that someone had given to me. Hopefully the pics will inspire some folks to tackle your version... ;D

My computer opens these files as a word document which is garbage on the screen. I have to save the file then  "open with" Adobe reader. Anyone know how to train my computer to go straight to Adobe for PDF files?

when you save it in word, you should be able to "publish as" and select pdf.

Being a genteel Texan now, I chose to not use that term. If I don't start getting an order or two for the plans, that may change! Next week, if all can get good engine runs, it will be T-6G vs. J-3 Cub vs. T-34C at Baton Rouge!

As of today, orders for the last two plan sets (F-86A/D, SB2C) have totaled zero. I am contemplating the Spitfire but do not want go to all that effort without assurance that I will move a reasonable number of plans. An amazing amount of research, planning and drafting time goes into one of these things. Getting no results is a big disappointment. Where have my fans gone to?

How do I go about ordering?   Do you accept Pay Pal?

Might get more orders if you made it clear how to get them.  Sorry, I don't mean to be critical but I haven't seen anything about ordering either this one or the last one!

Ty-
Just send me your E-mail address as a PM and I will send you the files, then you can run off prints at any decent copy shop.  I don't do hard copies anymore as this way saves both of us money.

Where have my fans gone to?

I'm certain that it's nothing to do with a lack of fans Don. For me anyway it's just a lack of realistic building time with far too many things on "The List" already. Now on the other hand, if we start talking about a B-25 for two .20-.25's I'd probably have to shuffle my list. y1

You mean like Brodak Kit CLP-94? AKA: B-25 "Pacific Princess", profile scale for two .25's?
(I know, not a stunter but impressive nonetheless...do I hear a "shuffle, shuffle?"... 8))

Mr.Hutch I want several of your plans. I would like the T-6, the Dauntless(SBC-2), the Beast(Hell diver), and the T-34. If you have some available bring'em to Baton Rouge.
    Thanks,

Yeah, I had my eye on that one ever since Pete started flying his original one way back. Followed it all through the development and eventual kit release by Brodak too. It's a great design, and I like it, but I want a stunter. y1

Don.

Do plans for a profile B-25 for a pair of 15 to 19's and/or a Hurricane and I guarantee you a sale of both sets of plans!!

Been messing around with thoughts of a B-25 for a long time and want to keep the dihedral between the engine nacelles, just would not look right otherwise.

Thank you!

Yep, it's got to have the gull bend in the wing. Figure a 56" to 60" span for two .20-.25's and count me in. y1

That Brodak B25 is not scale, there is too much wing area for the wingspan. My B25C is Profile Scale, but it is for a pair of .061 to .09 engines.

Pat

I've noticed that too Pat, it's definitely not truly scale, but that's how it's being marketed. Most folks won't even notice but it does stand out to a trained eye. Seems kind of a waste to me in a way, if they weren't going to make it a true scale kit why not give it a symmetrical airfoil then and expand the market a bit? If they had done that there is a good chance I'd be flying one. y1

See if this works: Right click the document, Go to properties, in the general tab select "opens with", then choose Adobe Reader X.  Click apply and okay. H^^
