Has anyone had problems with the Evo motor feeling tight at TDC. Had a new one squeak at TDC and took it apart and found nothing. I have three and two are acting this way. Any info will help   D>K

Brodak 40s are the same way.  The instructions say NOT to prop them over slowly when new.  Put fuel in and flip them hard.  Break them in per the instructions doing heat up/cool down cycles.  The sleeves are intentionally snug at the top.

the motors are an ABC set up and are SUPPOSED to be that way.

When they run the cylinders expand when hot a bit and the fit is then propper.

DO NOT flip them over dry.

if you think those are tight at top dead center, yo uought to see a NOVA ROSSI 12, 21 or a 28 for that matter.
