Just got in from the trip home and I wanted to post this separate from the previous post on the contest.  I'd like to say a big thank you and hat's off for a job well done to Charlie Reeves and Jim Lynch for running the contest.  It was sad not having our friend Allen there with us, but I believe he was smiling this weekend.  Charlie and Jim did Allen proud.  We had a great time, a lot of fun, great comradery, flying, and good food.  Already looking forward to next year.

Was great to see you and Ben. We missed Beth.

It was sad as Jim said he kept looking for a guy in a straw hat.  Allen would have been proud of the great turn out. Everything went off without issue. Great job by all who had a hand in a great well ran contest.

I'll second what James & Paul mentioned.
GREAT contest!
Wonderful Friends!
Everlasting memories!
Congrats to Ben!!
He flew the entire 'Basic Pattern' solo!
And did an outstanding job!
Did all the maneuvers, in order, with the correct number of repetitions.
If you haven't tried it yourself, the 'hoop-dee-doos' are a challenge to get all 4 in one lap!
Way to go 'TEAM MILLS'!!
The very best to you & "Tight Lines!"  H^^

I totally agree with James and Wes. A huge thank you to Charlie and Jim for a great contest and fellowship. The temperatures were very tolerable for a change, and it was a bit humid with some "heavy' dew at times, but it didn't put a damper on the fun.

Thanks again, Charlie, Jim, and your entire crew for a great time. See you again next year.

It really was a great weekend.  It was more of a celebration than just a contest.  My hat is off to Charlie Reeves and Jim Lynch.  They are two very fine gentlemen.
