Philly Flier in Chicagoland
« on: August 16, 2014, 02:33:26 PM »
I,m out here visiting the grandkids, they live close to the Circle Cutters flying site. Just wondering if anyone will be flying this weekend or during the coming week. I'd like to come over and say hello.

Rich,

There were guys flying this morning (Saturday.)  I'll be out flying tomorrow (Sunday) morning as will others.

I'll let you know when we expect to fly during the week.

     Best regards,

I saw Dennis Moritz in the Chicago airport last week, speaking of Philly Phlyers in Chicago.

See that Howard you never know what "celebrity" you will run into at O'Hare.

Hey, Rich,

We missed you out at Ned Brown Forest Preserve this morning, but most of us like to fly early and leave by
11:00 a.m. or so.  Hence, we might have already have headed for home if you had visited after that time.

By the way, while you're in the area you might want to try one of the local favorites, Lou Malnatti's Pizza.  It's
particularly good.

     Best regards,

Richard you are correct, I got to the field about 12:15 and no one was there. Talked to an r/c er who was packing up and he said that you guys had flown already and left. I'll be in town another week and a half so maybe i'll see you next sat. or sun.

Let me know if you fly during the week, the weather forecast is a little iffy, but maybe we can meet up.

Rich
