Most of tat is not good lumber.  That is what the highway department of Kansas needs along our highways.  The wife says I can't have one. :'(

Looks like the right tool for quickly clearing serious underbrush. The equipment and operator are expensive to rent, but it does a quick job and considering the time it is capable of doing it, a large area is cleared in one to two days versus a week or two with an entire crew and several pieces of equipment.

So, in the right situation it is the most cost effective solution especially in a competitive bid environment. A C/L club would most likely not be able to afford the costs to clear a lot of their choosing. That, the usual volunteer labor with chain saws and axes would most likely be the equipment of choice.   :)!

For building or road construction, probably a Cat 9-D would be the equipment of choice.  ;D
