I'm not sure where the Beers family lives in Montana, but John Thompson (FlyingLines.org) should be able to give you contact info. They are a family of speed/racers, but I'd bet they'd know how to fly a sport model.

Be aware that your "bottoms" will tend to be extra low, due to the altitude/thin air. Wider handle spacing and more nitro help.  H^^ Steve

The Beers family have moved to Arizona last I heard.  Somewhere in the Buckeye-Phoenix area.

Billings has an RC club, but little or no CL.  Mostly because it seems to be pretty windy most of the time.  Ask at Central Hobbies, they may be able to tell you something.  While you are there, buy yourself a set of Japanese Standard screwdrivers.  They'll fit your OS engines and don't round out the screws like using a Phillips head does.

Well I went to Central Hobbies today...got them there screwdrivers. They have some SIG cl kits and several control line planes hanging from the ceiling. Nice folk.
Thanks for the heads up on them.

Shug:

Once you try using a Japanese Standard on an OS Engine (or other Japanese product) you'll see what I mean.  Just take a real close look a the point of a Phillip's head and then the Japanese Standard; you'll see the difference.  They fit the "socket" better.
