Jim Walker "Lightning Streak"
« on: July 11, 2014, 12:03:49 AM »
I saw a photo of part of a model kit box with a photo of a Jim Walker Firebaby , but with "Lightning Streak" emblazoned on the box in big letters.

I could not see the whole box, and was wondering if he renamed the Firebaby for a while or was that an earlier name? Anyone have a clue?  ???
Think S.M.A.L.L. y'all and, it's all good, CL, FF and RC!

Larry, I don't know the answer but I am amazed that there seems to be such an endless supply of JW products and variants. As a kid I could give you the rundown on Berkley, Sterling, TopFlite, Carl Goldberg and Scientific but as far as Walker's products, I knew the Fireball, Firebaby, Hornet, The interceptor glider and the Ceiling Walker. Over the last few years I see more an more that apparently were not advertised in the magazines because I scoured them repeatedly.
