Don't know the problem, but I just read Stunt News on the old site. The new site won't let me look at it. Have been looking at the other stuff that is available. Thanks for all the hard work guys.

John is it giving you an error message? When you click on the stunt news it should show you a list of stunt news with years - then you click on the year then click on the issue you want to download. When you click on the pdf you want it should download to your computer it may not open itself but it should download. So you may have to figure out where it downloaded to but if you are using chrome it will show a download box at the bottom of the browser if you click on the download box you should have some option to open and so fourth.

This what you click to download the latest issue once you get to there

I have tried again to get registered, but do not see any way to do it. The page comes up with an error message. I don't see any way to checkout. I've tried three different times today.

Jim when you start make sure you do not already have an item in your cart

Others have registered this afternoon. So I believe you may have a left over cart item with an invalid date preventing you from checking out.

I get the error messages also. I tried to go through the old site and it refuses to accept the password that I have used for years. It won't let me registration with the new system either.

I always download each issue of SN. I also use the membership directory very often.

I give up.

Bud - First, Thanks for taking on the task of coaching seniors with fumblefingers in computer usage. I have logged in the the new site, gotten it to say hello to me, and checked the cart. It says its empty. When I try to access SN, it shows a 403 error, 'not authorized'. Can you help? Thanx!

ps - It gives the same error message using either firefox or chrome browsers.

Well it took this old man a couple of tries to get the Stunt News up. New this computer the daughter installed is for the pits. Used to be able to boot the old one and had a program to clean it up. Spend more time deleting the pop ups than I do reading the forums.

By the way the article that our Bobby Hunt is great explaining why this issue was late. I didn't know it was late. I think I will be just down loading each issue to a disc from now on if I can figure out this electronic junk.

Hi,
I have registered and been able to sign on to PAMPACL.ORG site. Recently, when I try to go there I receive an error telling me it cannot find the web address I entered. The explanation I was given was mis-typing (I did not, I even used your links in stunthanger and stuka) the error also mentioned something about DNS issues. No clue about DNS here! all of my other links seem to be OK.

Any clues?

I would think once the old site is gone and is moved over to the new one, you should be able to down load the past issues. That is what I have been doing. Have a binder almost full of discs of the past issues.

I just tried on the new site and it didn't seem to work. Tried the 35 dollar internet membership. when I hit <next> the price keeps rising

YUP! That is exactly how I copied it from the old PAMPA website when I created the new site. As long as I am going to address this comment... I'll add that this applies to anything else that anyone see's out of place on the PAMPA website (like the missing SN issues, etc.)

Bud was a real find to take over the Webmaster job and run with it as his own, and he has made it even better and more efficient with his own tweaks.

With all due respect, it is not the webmasters (Buds) job to generate content! The webmaster can only post what he is given to post by PAMPA directive, and deals with the day to day stuff that crops up. That's it. Period. It's not his job to chase people down or nag anyone for content.

Bud's been doing a great job of it. I think we all owe him a big THANK YOU!
