Attention all CL Stunt enthusiasts: The long awaited new PAMPA website is now up and functional. Our most profound thanks go out to Bud Morrison for taking on the task of being our new Webmaster. Bud's long history in setting up and running websites is most impressive and we will soon have a bio on Bud available so that all can see the depth of his experience. Bud told me to not wait for that and, that getting the word out about the site was more important. He's a no nonsense type of guy who values results more than rewards. We need more like him.

Another person who deserves a huge amount of credit is Eric Viglione. Eric donated a bunch of time and the resources he has at his disposal to design the new site for PAMPA and did so at no charge. Eric is another person who values results over rewards, but I just thought it was time to thank both of these amazing men for their involvement, their talent, and their willingness to VOLUNTEER!

I'd also like to acknowledge Bob "Sparky" Storick for initially volunteering to do the job of website manager. Once Bob saw that the requirements were a bit more than he could handle at this point, he suggested Bud to us. Thanks for looking out for us Sparky!

There are numerous new features on the new site. Chief among these is the ability for anyone who wants to join PAMPA to do so online! I know that many overseas stunt enthusiasts have been hoping for this point of purchase membership ability. There are three membership options, so study the site carefully to see which one is best for you.

The new site also offers the capability for members to purchase PAMPA items (caps, shirts, books, coffee mugs, back issues of Stunt News, and plans) online.

Without doubt this is the beginning of a new era for PAMPA. I'd like to invite you all to visit the site, and encourage you to join PAMPA.

To ensure we have current info and the online membership system functions as it should all current members need to follow the link on the main page to register on the new website. You will not have login credentials until you do so and then the info is verified by pampa staff.

All current members have to register via the shopping cart to create a new login and be added to the membership subscription system on the new site. Just follow the (Current Member Registration) link on the main page.

I am now a PAMPA Person.
Looking forward to being in the loop.

I just tried to pay up and join and get a shirt and some decals and it gave me weird messages about Paypal and would not take my VISA card. I'll try again.
Been reading my old Stunt News from 1992-93. Filled with all kinds of great info.....most seems still relevant to me.
OK...off to try once again.

I just tried to join and when I submitted my "order" I got some cryptic message about PayPal and it returned me back to the submit page. When I hit submit, all it does is go pack to the same page.

Dunno but your order and pre-auth went through fine. You will receive an email when one of the membership staff process it.

The PAMPA website has been tested extensively for functionality with Internet Explorer, Chrome and Firefox with default security settings on multiple computers and laptops both windows and Linux. Whenever I see a comment like the above I personally check the functionality again even from a hotel with the slowest internet ever

I happy to report all is functioning as it should. Please check your browser settings and configuration.

Easy to do - just follow the prompts in the cart as if you were buying something (there is no cost to current members) and you'll be newly registered. Nice Site. Thanks Bob & Bob.

Not so easy Gene. I get an error code saying that the date is invalid! Joining via the website is not going well. This should have be a simple thing to do. Sheesh!

Crist.... You already have an account you made on the 14th. You should be able to log in on the right side of the main page using the user and pass sent to you in your registration email.

I can log in, I can't do the new member registration. That's where I get the error message.

I had the same issue,, you need to delete the item in your cart,, then add it again,, the second one you add will have the current date on it,,

Christ is all fixed up and good to go.

But for anyone else that gets a date or range error Mark is correct.

Before you try again go to your cart top right of page then delete the item in your cart left from the last time you did not finish checkout, make sure your cart is empty and has 0 items in it. Then add current member registration to your cart again, the second one you add will have the current date on it and will check out correctly.

I too need to learn to read. After doing the delete thing and completing it again, I could look at every thing at the top of the page. It was the current Stunt News I kept getting the error code on. Finally I reread the side note for the umpteenth time. Went to the old site and have now read the current Stunt News from the old site. How soon can we re-up for 2015 PAMPA membership? Also how can we thank you guys for what you do?

All New PAMPA Memberships run 12 months from date of order processing. And if you get the mailed version you will receive the issue next standard mailing date.
Since you are an existing member on the old Calendar year membership you should renew in January.

I have simplified the various membership items by making a shopping cart item for each one of them instead of the multiple choice buttons on one item. This should make things easier for everyone including the staff processing the orders.

It is a constant feature of things like this that the process is crystal clear, unambiguous and simple to the site builder, but is obscure, ambiguous, and complicated to a person who comes in from outside and expects the site to operate as they logically (?) think it should.

Just wanted to give a little update.

-Simplifying the membership subscriptions into individual cart items looks like it has worked out well.
- In the future we will be adding a cart item to order individual back issues of Stunt News and the rest of the PAMPA products.
-Caps are now in and there will be color choices which I will add color options to the Caps cart item once I get the colors info.
-Remember the new web site is pampacl.org if you try to go there from Google it may take you to the old website so make sure you are at pampacl.org

"Warning Failed to Authenticate" Means the password you are trying to use is wrong.
Its not just a new url it is a new server.
You set your password to whatever you want when you go through the Existing Member registration process on the new site. Although you will not have access to the members area until a PAMPA staff member check membership status and processes your Existing member order. Be sure to complete the existing member order process the whole way to the end failure to complete it to the end will create an account but will result in not being added to the members usergroup thus no access to the members section.

I can't even get into the old site. It doesn't recognize my old pass word and won't let me create anything new. I use the membership directory frequently. I have now given up.

I always download Stunt News. Looks like I will miss the next issue.

I have no control over the old site. You will have to contact Bob Kruger about the old site. The old site will eventually no longer be updated and will eventually be shut down. I do not see you as registered on pampacl.org yet.
