On Sunday, May 25th (Memorial Day Weekend), the New York Control Line Stunt Team is sponsoring a Pampa Stunt Contest at Corona Flushing Meadow Park, Flushing New York (Model Plane Field) for Beginner to Expert.

The contest will start after the pilots meeting at 9 AM.   If you plan on attending, please arrive as early as possible in order to get a parking spot since the park will be crowded with picnics. If you are not familiar with our field, it has 2 grass and 2 concrete circles enclosed by a cyclone fence.

How about driving directions?

Google "Flushing Meadow Corona Park" ... the entrance is on the southbound side of the Van Wyck Expressway. The control line circles are just south of the boat house.  If you use the satellite view you will see the paved circles on the east side of the lake ...

Coming from Boston you have to get to the KFK Bridge (Triboro Bridge) and onto the Grand Central Pkwy.

Take that to Exit 9E (Northern Blvd - Citi Field). As you exit, go straight, and follow sign to Van Wyke Expwy on right.

Take that to the exit for Flushing Meadow Park and stay in right lane heading towards the park. When you come to stop sign, make a left and you will see the flying circles on your right inside the cyclone fence.
