Years ago (1957 or so) Engineering in some of our major NW company Personell folks had some pretty interesting requirements in their hiring practices...Hummm?
Wonder if time have really changed that much since then?  H^^ :!

Where I worked women engineers had to pass the wall test.

I think it was probably "Clasp you hand behind your head" and if your elbows touch the wall 1st you didn't get the job.  ;)
I started out with nothing and still have most of it left.....

John, our wall test was not as severe as the yours with elbows.  They just had to walk into the wall and if the nose hit the wall first then the applicant was rejected.   Seriously, the women engineers I worked with knew their stuff.
