The image hasn't changed for many weeks. Is the webcam out of action?

Actually the Web Cam was back on line a couple weeks ago. Changed the link on the Home page to the new site but what I overlooked was the ones that had bookmarked a direct link to the old URL. Fixed that this morning, the old WebCam.html page now has a link to the new site.

O.K. I've updated My Favorites listing to the new URL and it's all good again. Even though I'm in Sydney Australia, I like to check out the Gluedobber's circles every few days.

I just supplied the location, the Gluedobbers are mostly responsible for turning it into one of the best grass flying sites in the country. 3 circles, Air Conditioned club house, two shelters and other amenities.. What makes it all posible is it is on private property with electricity, water and internet access.

Hey Bob, That link is still showing the same picture. Is that a old link posted above?

The link you posted is correct. It's working, just haven't moved my van in several days and the only day anyone has flown in the last week was Tuesday. Most don't come out when the wind is blowing 15-20 which after today is predicted until next Tuesday. I would be flying this morning but need to get a bunch of stuff done before leaving for Brodak.

If you look closely you can see cars on the road behind the field in some of the shots.

Bob,
You could a little wind sock or a streamer on a pole right there in the grass area in front of your van. Or are the winds always the same?

We have a windsock that is just to the right out of the cameras view. It's pretty well blowing straight out right now. With only one camera we felt it would serve us better looking more to the parking area, idea being the guys can look to see if anyone is at the field before leaving home. Plans are to add another camera, when we get that accomplished the one you are looking at will be moved to show the circles and then the wind sock will be in the picture.

Just looked and see a van still in the view. Right now I look out the front room window here in Shawnee KS and it looks like a storm brewing. Getting darker by the minute. Ah well, three more work days and I can hit the circle when I feel like it and not worry about the clock.

I check wind speed at the Wichita flying site by checking the following web site www.weatherforyou.com Enter a zip code of 67210 for the Wichita Kansas CL flying site Enter your zip code and it will tell you the current wind speed is and it will forcast the wind speed for the next 7 days. Fred C.
