When adding a previous post in the same thread as a quote where the thread is a long one and only the most recent posts are visible when you hit Reply, is it possible to access earlier posts in the same thread for quoting, and if so, how?  Thanks.

I do this by opening a second pane (on Firefox you hold control and push on a link), navigating to the 'other' article I want to quote, and cutting and pasting.

Of course, the quotes are just text, so you can make them up from scratch
