my password is not recognised

I went to change my E mail contact address and it requires you to put in your password to validate the change. I used the password that i went through extreme difficulty getting fixed the last time and only because of Bill Little was it corrected. So what is really going on with this problem. Because as soon as my computer for any reason drops a cookie I'm going to be back to guest status and going through the problem of getting back on the forum.
