Kits for 2011...
« on: November 01, 2010, 04:26:54 PM »
Okay guys and gals...

for the up coming year (2011) we will have a brand new design we want to offer; it's a 46-51 size Profile of the Edge 540

The prototype is underway, so we will post pics a little later in the week.

The kit will have all Laser cut parts, Adjustable L.O. guide, Weight box, Wheel pants and Prebent Wire landing gear.

.46-.51 Profile
55.5" W.S.
654" W.A.
37" Length

Depending on overall cost and interest; we may have Dural gear but that is not for sure

A full fuse version I'd be instersted in...profile - not so much.

Make it full fuse and have a decal set made of Kirby's paint job illustrated here, and I'll buy it. Gid Adkisson and Bob Whitely will have some great ideas for such a design.

Well guys thats already to go, I even cut the sample parts but we just haven't built the prototype yet.

Specs on the big boy are:
WING SPAN: 60"
WING AREA: 708.5 SQ. IN.
LENGTH: 42 15/16"
ENGINE SIZE: .51-.65

I even have the paint scheme picked out, it will be the same for both

Hey Walter,

Just curious ... when is the Trident kit going to finally be released?

That's the one I've been waiting for.  :)

the Manx Cat IV prototypes

wait till you see the prototype, it's getting close to being finished,
we're waiting on the graphics, then pending the weather, it'll be
waiting for a test flight.

John,
Get the full fuselage model when Walt makes it available. You need a home for that large bore engine you own.
