Thanks for the reply, I think I should have worded the question like this, if you build one plane for PAMPA and N30 and put a pipe set up instead of muffler will it be "frowned" upon or looked at as not being in the spirit of the event?

HI James

You are free to run a pipe of muffler, nothing in the rules against that, however as always no gaureentee can be made that someone will not  frown upon it.

As Randy stated, no matter how you do it someone out there will frown on it.  I my self care less about what powers the planes.  It is the reprodution of the model that I like.  In fact some of todays models are finished better than the originals.  I have seen Georges planes fairly close.  No 20 pointers. Hoff
