Found this interesting.. A Curtiss P40 Kittyhawk just been found in the Sahara Desert missing for 70 yrs! Apparently, still had ammo in the wings which the Egytian Army have now removed. The British pilot is thought to have gotten lost over the desert in 1942, run out of fuel and bellied in the sand. Having survived the crash,and completly lost, he sadly walked to his death.. Theres some great pics on the net but I'm not clever enough to bring up the website..
