There are no kits for sale there Dwayne. I think you are referring to www.brothersofthering.com which was Dee and Pat J's website that is now defunct. The www.brotherhoodofthering.info site is down, which is what this thread is about. I have no idea what is wrong. I notified Dee and David Gressen last night(David's brother owns the domain). Hopefully it will be back up soon.

You meet all of the requirements, Doc. The door is open and we welcome all. Outside of learning the "secret handshake", and the "riding a donkey backwards, going up a hill" initiation thingy, you'll be in some fine company!Come on down!

Richard we added one thing to the initiation. It was too easy to pass. Now you also have to stand on a wet burlap bag in your bare feet holding on to the coil wire of a John Deere Tractor while Dee is trying to start it. You get by that one you're in "Doc"

Hey I have done that with the mag on an old Allis Chalmbers.  Not too many of you remember the little metal peice you pressed down on the spark plug to kill the lawn mower?  Also how do you place your hand when checking out the electric fence to see if it was working? mw~

One things for sure about the electric[horse] fence.......don't test it with your ear....it feels just like you got kicked in the head by a mule. LL~

Doc, You being an old Telco hand, you had to of loved getting hit with those old 90V 20hz ringing generators! mw~
That slow, clinging, jerking pulse couldn't be beat! Not soon to be forgotten...dang that hurt! Definitely could take the edge off a cup of coffee first thing in the morning!  LL~

I could hear the testboard men still cussing me after they would hit the ringer while I was making a connection.  Nothing like needle nose slapping against the speakers we had on the frame.   LL~ LL~

Hi Doc,

I used to kick that old *kill Switch* with my foot.  Eliminated any chance of a shock! LOL!!
There were three brothers who lived across the road when I was about 10.  All were around my age, and all ended up in REFORM SCHOOL! LL~ LL~ (it's true) So, anyway, they had an old phonograph and the center stem (to hold the records) was shorted to something, it was always *live*.  They got everyone that ever came over with that jolt.
