Rex Abbott passed away March 27, 2016

Some may have met Rex at VSC, Brodak's Fly-In, the NATS, or some NW contests. He lived in Sequim, Washington. I got an email last Monday or Tuesday that said they'd read on facebook that Rex had passed from a heart attack. Rex was "one of a kind".   :( Steve

We knew Rex from a couple of VSCs a few years ago.  Sorry to hear this news.  Man, we're disappearing quickly!

Rex was unique, He made contests interesing sometimes, he will be missed

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

The obit for Rex was updated today, April 4, with more information from the family.
