TP ProliteX series Batteries
« on: September 05, 2016, 03:52:05 PM »
This may have already been asked. If so, please forgive me. A search did not return any results.

Has anyone tried the new TP ProliteX cells? They are quite a bit less expensive than the previous prolite cells, but share the same weight and dimensions.

Thanks,
Jason

Jason,
I got a few of them when they first became available.  I find no difference in them and the Pro Lite + I've been using for the past 3 years.  Sure like the price.

I got a six-cell 2800 mAh pack as a replacement for a six-cell 2700 mAh pack.  The new one is 7 grams lighter than the previous-generation 2700s, which are lighter than earlier 2700s.  I'm adding increasing amounts of ballast to my batteries to get them to match.

Thanks, Alan and Howard. Glad to hear. The price is attractive. I believe I'll order one to try.

Thanks,

My new 2800 ProliteX and the replaced 2700 Prolite seem very similar.
