      Yesterday I ordered a 3S 5k 70c battery from TP. Then about one min later I saw your posting. I have used your info on ordering TP batteries before and saved money and guess I need to know how you come up with this information? Eric

     Darn. I've been buying batteries from them sense I first started playing with electrics. Come to think of it, I've bought batteries when I saw your post about the sales at TP. So I guess I'll go to this Topic "before" I buy my next batteries. Thanks

I got an email - I ordered from them for the first time about 3 weeks ago, and opened an account.  I imagine you can opt out of receiving that kind of thing, somewhere on their site, but I don't mind getting stuff like that.  I was kicking myself for missing their "Black Friday" sale at Thanksgiving - that was 50% off.

Black Friday is the big one. They have a Toledo show sale, it comes in April and is usually 25% also.

 Unfortunately,  their shipping charges have seen a big increase. Used to be that "club members"   got free shipping on any order.
Now, club membership is up from $20 to $25 and one must spend $100 to get free shipping. I declined  re-up.

So,  shipping for one 4S pack cost  me $16 (ground required, of course).

The 25% off was essentially wiped out.

Still like their batteries and warranty, so I bit the bullet anyway.

TP  has left me scratching my head. n~ They run a sale , but don't have the materials to build  batteries and  fill orders. By the time mine arrives, three weeks will have lapsed.
 Oh , and they plan to "eventually" go with USPS to reduce shipping costs. I asked why not now? $16-$18 dollars to ship one 8 ounce battery.
For those of you who decide to order during the Toledo Show promo, have lots and lots of patience.
I think they are having business issues. Just not the same company anymore.
