Bob Hunt sells them. You can cut one out of CF plate if you like making 10 jig saw blades dull. For profile planes I epoxy a couple of layers of thick fiberglass to 1/4" birch ply and weight it down on a glass table to make it flat.

Thanks Bob Hunt it is.   #^

I think that's an exaggeration.  I go through one blade per handle; I think one of those motor mounts would be about the same.

Apparently there's inexpensive laser cutters coming on the market.  The cheap ones are more like laser cutter kits straight from the Danger Zone (no interlocks and a 2 1/4 watt visible-light laser -- which means that all you need is to get a glint off of something shiny and you're blind in that eye).  They look interesting as hell.

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

I am wattling on an eMail back from Bob on availability and cost.  But from what I remember about the last one I bought from Bob the cost was reasonable and the cut out and hole pattern was spot on.  Time I buy the material and figure out the shape and hole pattern Bob's motor mount looks to be the way to go,

Just got off of the phone with Bob Hunt and ordered a motor mount from him.  Cost was $11.95 + shipping.  I would be hard pressed to buy the material and a saw blade for that.
