Gieseke FOX 35 - setup and muffler?
« on: September 01, 2013, 07:35:20 AM »
Guys,
From the list that was posted in this forum the last time that someone won the NATs with a Fox 35 was 1979 - Bob  Gieseke. Does anyone know the setup - prop, fuel, tank and muffler (if any) he used back then?

Best,      DennisT

Here is what I have been told but some well known modelers. He ran the motor slow with extra head gaskets. I saw Bob fly one of his old Fox 35 planes long after he had stopped using them. It seemed slow and the lines looked like 57 ft. No mufler

One of the good things about this is that you can go straight to Mr. Gieseke and ask him.  His info is in the PAMPA Directory.  I can't find my last one or I would PM you the info.  He is a super nice gentleman and will talk to you.
