Combat contest in Detroit - May & September

The traditions continue.

River Rouge Park, Detroit, Michigan

Saturday: Speed Limit, Slow, Fast and 1/2A Combat.  
Racing events; Clown, Foxberg and/or LA25, depending on entries.
Perky Speed

Sunday:  All carrier events and F2d double elim.

As always, low entry fee, nominal prizes, good food and good competition.

May 20 & 21
September 9 & 10.

Per the current AMA Rules.  .012" x 42' +/-3".   I just now checked it twice.

Colombo is the reigning Huntersville champ and current top dog.

The contest went well enough despite an ongoing two weeks of rain and COLD weather.

Speed Limit, 1/2A, F2D and Fast F2D were completed.  Results are posted under results.

Here is Lou Scavone firing up a MacKenzie brothers plane with the 2.4 at will.
