I saw in a different post that joining NCS is now free. How do I join? The website still says $10. I would be happy to make a $10 contribution to go along with my membership.

 Thank you,
 Jim Roselle.

Oh man Jim, this topic may very well turn sour faster than the last topic. I certainly don't know the ansewer. It is simply pistifying to me why some steerage hasn't come forth by now from the NCS. That we don't have an editor for the news letter or a treasurer sense Ted Kraver stepped away from both of those jobs nothing seems to be happening. This is not the first time that question has been asked and I'm sure it wont be the last.

Quite a lot of work has been going on, unfortunately the membership files obtained from Ted could not be used. Dick Perry has been working to put some semblance of order in place. He is pretty much there. The treasury has been secured so that is not an issue.

Please be a bit more patient, we're close.

Joe,
Any and all input is appreciated. As most newsletter editors know you can use all the help you can get, otherwise the readers just get your own ramblings.

I'm working on the website. Tomorrow the  email will go to Dick Perry and the $10 fee will be removed.
There is a button on the site to Join the NCS.
We are making a lot of changes and it takes time.

The NCS website http://navycarriersociety.org/MainMenu.aspx has been updated.
If you click on the Join NCS you are presented with a form. Fill it out and click the Submit button and an email will be sent to Dick Perry,
The Contacts page has changed, you may have to refresh it to get the current contacts, press F5 for that.
There now is a page where a CD can fill out a form to upload contest information.
CD's need to click the Click Here button on the Enter or Edit a Contest Page. An email will be sent to me and I'll add you to the database and send you a password to get in.
There is a Contests page
There is a Hi Low Landings page (old ones currently)
