The newsletter with election results has been posted on th NCS site. Take advantage of the current free membership offer, although I don't believe you have to be a member to see the newsletter.

I have just posted a newsletter on the NCS web site. It has quite a bit of stuff on NW-40 which has been discussed recently on the carrier board.

Well I need a computer person here to help me.  Spent yesterday evening try to download the program.  Got past the finish box and still says I need the program.  Even tried rebooting so I could start over.   Anyway I haven't messed up the computer like I did with some programs and had to have it cleaned up.       I'm having the same problem John if your talking about the "requires adobe reader" thing? I'm pretty sure I have adobe reader already in my PC as I have a lot of material stored that was the adobe stuff? Also didn't there use to be a "Ready Room" that we could go to that was a picture of flight crews being briefed  for a mission? I don't see it anymore.

I just went to the site and everything opened for me, including the Ready Room. I'll ping Bill with the issues and see if he has any solutions.

Doc and Eric, I am available tomorrow, if you are. I can work with 1 computer at a time. There is a program, called TeamView, that I can use to take control of your machine and see what I can do.
Let me know about when you guys are available.

Comes up OK for me but I have to allow pop ups from the NCS site, let it re load the page and then re select the issue I want.
Unless it's crazy, ambitious and delusional, it's not worth our time.

When the site opens a newsletter, it does it in a new window. This allows you to close the newsletter and still be in the NCS site.

I worked with Eric Conley today and made some changes to the page. You now select the newsletter to view and an address pops up next to it. You can click on that address and you should get the newsletter. Unfortunately this only worked once for Eric. The next time he selected a newsletter, the mouse cursor changed from an arrow to a hand with a Red and Yellow exclamation point. No explanation as to what the exclamation point is, but it won't give us the address.
Next I had him try Google Chrome, which is on most computers, that browser works. I also have used Firefox.
If you change browsers, don't change the default browser to the new one or everything will be different and we don't want that.
I'll try to figure out what the exclamation point is about.
