Ahhh i've got one of these from Walter in the closet...now i HAVE to get it out and get started. His kits are a work of freakin' art! Even the way they are packed. I love the stiletto as well. Just something really cool looking aobut it. I think I will put a RO Jett 40SE in mine...have one new in the box, well...bench run....but would this be too much engine?

The "Mark" of Excellence,

Mark,

You did one of my "Jump to Light Speed."

What covering is on the wing?

Looking good.

Les was THE MAN at Orange Blossom Hobbies in Miami where I grew up. I got to see the O.S. Max .35 powered Stilletto that had won the Nats in "74. The "BLACK" as explained by Les to the then teenager, was actually DARK BLUE. The reason as explained by him was that black actually shows up under certain lighting conditions as brown. Just wanted to share this little tidbit on the models finish.

Hey Robert,
I'll bet that name doesn't mean a thing to anyone here except me and some how, to you.
Please tell me how you came to know Bill. A fine gentleman that goes way, way back in the history of modeling in Miami.
I see people my age out there climbing mountains and zip lining and here I am feeling good about myself because I got my leg through my underwear without losing my balance

Hi, Les.
I never met Bill Stoia but his son Jim is one of my closest friends.
He lives right here in Manning.
Jim is a top-notch aircraft specialist with a lot of credentials.

Years back, he built this beautiful Cassutt:  http://stunthanger.com/smf/open-forum/not-model-aviation-but-a-stunning-plane/

And yes, he flies control line!
