Thank you Charles.  Greatly appreciated, especially coming from a man with your talents.  Although I seldom make comments on other people's posts, I am a fan of your work!

Don,

Relax, no one leaves comments.

Just keep up the splendid work.

Question.

How many trial drafts did you draw before the finished one?

Your choice for the red and yellow checks. Did the idea/choice come from you seeing another model/aircraft?

Will you finish with a 2K auto clear?

Charles

My wife thought my paint designs all looked to similar and one day said why don't you do a checkerboard on the next one?  She attends all contests with me and apparently saw a plane somewhere with a checkerboard design that she liked, and she kept after me to do it.  I liked the colors on Matt Hall's 2015 Red Bull racer, so that's where the colors came from, and the scheme was drawn up on he first try after staring at the model for quite some time and measuring it to determine what would work.  The clear is still undetermined, but after a small amount of touch up, its ready for it.

I'm starting to build a Brodak profile Oriental too....I'm going to put an Evo 36 cl on the nose.  Anyone else using this combo ?  If so would love a flight report.

 Thanks, Tommy
