Yeah that's it, stylized, the word I've been looking for. I'd been having trouble describing this thing, thanks Randy. ;D

Wayne,

The model is really looking good. Be hard pressed to tell it started out as an ARF Nobler.  H^^

Not sure, but, it looks like you have sanded your open bays? If so, please, what grade paper are you using?

I dry sanded all the primer off with 800 wet or dry paper, then back over everything with 1000 and 1500. Almost there...

Nearing the end of Zen...for now. Just have a couple very small spots to fill and sand, fuel proof the engine compartment and cowl, and we'll be ready for color. Checking "inventory" tonight I discovered I'll be needing some more thinner. Just finished placing my online order with Aircraft Spruce, yee-ouch!

Yeah, I started picking up dope from Spencer Aircraft in Puyallup, WA. It's cheaper and they are nice people. But still expensive.

Looks really good, man. Can't tell it was ever a Nobler. What power are you using?

Yeah, the price is bad enough and then another 25 bucks shipping added on top.

Power is a brand new FP.40 with a Jim Lee venturi, PA NVA and a plastic clunk tank. As of last night I think I'm finally done sanding, filling, priming, sanding, filling, priming, sanding, filling, priming, sanding, filling, priming, sanding...  n~

I think you're ready. Got up this morning and it was 82F, clear, sunny and beautiful.

Of course, I'm about 2600 miles from home so no painting today.

I agree, kind of like the "payoff", as long as all goes well anyway. I'll be diving in very soon...

Well we've got a little color going now, white on Monday night and now some red stripes tonight. I held off this time on mounting the elevators so I wouldn't have to work around them while I do the red white and blue work on the tail. Once that's done I'll mount them and then go after the rest of the finish.  ;D
