Quick Question on "Peacemaker" Tip Weight
« on: March 19, 2017, 01:34:54 PM »
Guys -

Does anyone (Mike?) have a set of Aldrich "Peacemaker" plans handy to check GMA's recommended tip weight? I splashed a drop of solvent right on that number on my own plans and don't remember it. I also made my weight box too small (please don't ask!) and want to make sure that I leave myself enough latitude in weight adjustment. I'm guessing 3/4 oz, but can't remember. His c.g. and lead-out positions were very close to what I got from theory and Line II. I imagine his figure is very close to optimum for a reasonable build, but if anyone has his own preference, I'd welcome that too. Thanks!

The MAN plan says 3/4–1 oz. The Aeromodeller plan says 3/4 oz. Different models so different numbers.
