Flite Streak ARF discontinued?
« on: February 03, 2016, 10:02:28 PM »
I was just looking at Tower Hobbies website and saw the Flite Streak listed as discontinued just as I was considering maybe getting one, bummer.  Maybe this isn't news here, but I wasn't aware of it until now?

"unavailable" here too.

Get the Brodak kit.  It goes together really quick.

I was bummed out about Top Flight decision to discontinue the Flight Streak ARF.   It was a good deal went together fast and a great flying plane.  Only a matter of time before the Nobler is gone.  One less choice to choose from.
Sure there is always the kit to build but with the ARF you were in the air in a matter of hours.

Or get one Phil Cartier's stunt trainers (or combat thingies).  Well regarded, rugged, etc.

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

Meh, what's the big deal? You can have a kit Flite Streak assembled in an evening. Iron-on cover the wing and rattle can the fuse. Ta-da! Ready to go.
