A length of silicone fuel tubing works well for me.  Pick a diameter (medium) and length (around 1/2 inch) so that it's compressed a bit at the right setting, but not riding over the shoulder on the needle valve.

Or, Cox International.

Edit: I only just now noticed that yours is a Medallion, not a reedie.  The fuel tube should still work but I don't have personal experience with that one.  If not, Cox International has needle stuff for Medallions, too.

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

What Tim said I my method also... if you find the Needle step is to small a diameter and is sliding into the fuel line, use a small #2 washer it fits over the threads but wont pass the first step before the knob

Trick is finding the running needle setting and then cut the fuel line just barely a tad longer but not too much

seals out air, stops vibration changes of the needle

How about a spring out of a ball point pen?
It's only paranoia if they aren't really after you.

They're too wimpy.  If anything, fuel tubing works better than stock if you're willing to fuss with it a bit.
