First of all, this was a lightning fast super fun build. Secondly, there's gonna be a few of these in Vegas! Lol.  You should have seen the smile on joey's face! Then I flew it and we bs'd for a while. I asked him to try it a second time.... he smiled from ear to ear!
Specs;
Norvel .061
25/28 1/2a fuel
First prop, 5x3.5
Next prop will be 5x2
3 inch handle, three inch bell crank
Max deflection: 80 degrees.

First video is the maiden flight. Second video shows Joey Mathison ringing it out, showing what this beast can really do!

Looks like a blast! What size/length lines are you using?

Hmmm... good question.  I believe they are 42' line length. But let me actually check that to make sure

Thanks guys, and thanks again Pat. This is really just about having fun. From the build to the amazing first flight

Thanks Andre. After a few flights, Joey said "what would be really cool is to get two of these and tie some streamers to them. .... "

Thanks guys. Joey is the best bi-slob pilot!

Ray, I used a perfect tank, it was 11-12 ml so I'm pretty sure that's 3/8 oz perfect tank.

I learned a lot about running a norvel on suction from Joey. You gotta spin them up pretty good to run on suction. They draw fuel well, only at high RPM.

Brings back memories of my Cox .020 Pee Wee powered Larry Scarinzi Queen Bee! The high altitude in Denver made it very easy to hover, with a bit of dithering at the handle.

The Baby Bi-Slob looks more crash resistant than the QB, and may not require a light tissue and dope finish to fly well.

Bill
Not a flyer (age related), but still love the hobby!

You are correct sir! Monokote white fuse and microlight transparent blue wings. The tail feathers and trim is monokote baby blue.  Extremely easy to build. Makes sense Cuz we might crash a couple..... lol

On the hover flight, did not sound like it was spinning up , but still had steady rpm.  Was that also on suction ?

Hi Allan,
Yes sir. No changes were ever made except the prop. With the smaller prop, we were able to richen it up slightly.

Oh, and no muffler. I don't know how much that'll affect anyone's run, but for the way I built this one, the muffler wouldn't fit. Next one I build will have a larger tank. Maybe pressure of some sort.
